This device better known as an Intelligent Fraction Collector was used to collect and separate chemical substances according to time, volume, or peak. During each run the chemical substances were collected in glass tubes that would slide into the rotating black circular disk above. This specific model allowed the technician to program in specific commands through the built in keyboard.
