Coal Hell

Everything inside the breaker was coated with a fine layer of coal dust which much like a plume of glitter, stuck to anything and everything. Every square inch of the buildings were covered with this coal silt and after hours of exploring the property, I too was draped with jacket of fine dust which blackened my exposed skin and soiled my clothes. Anytime I venture into Coal Country I become affected by what I refer to as Black Booger Syndrome; where even the snot in my nose becomes black as tar and resembles coal sediment more than mucus.
