The last stop of the day was also the first stop of the morning. A brisk walk out from the power plant followed by a quick dark into the adjacent woods-line and we were back into the safety of the shrubs and trees. This would mark my first and last time at the infamous Marlboro State Hospital, however I am fortunate to have taken the opportunity to explore the institution for the campus today remains as an overgrown tick invested field, except for the power plant and kitchen buildings which strangely still stand (perhaps because of underlying pollution issues). Pictured below is an older picture of the same Cleaver-Brooks boiler I capture a photo of in 2014.
