Baby Hold On

The massive arm which would funnel coal into barges stained below now dangles precariously by just a few high tension steel wires, ripped apart from the steel superstructure during Hurricane Irene. It won't take much more stress before the entire steel arm slips into the murky depth of the Arthur Kill. Pictured below is an image detailing the abandoned McMyler Coal Dumper prior to the damage it sustained during Hurricane Irene in 2011. Note how the arm is fully erect and supported.
