Here's a look at the original West Philadelphia High School gymnasium which was located within the basement of the school. It featured a neat floating track above the gym floor, which is not something that is commonly seen in modern schools any longer. In recent years the high school has undergone an extensive renovation project and has been reborn as a residential complex known as West Lofts, many original features of the high school were restored such as the basement gymnasium, pictured below all spruced up.
