Red Ring of Death

Inside the power plant at the Ingersoll Rand factory in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This factory once employed over 4,000 workers from the Lehigh Valley, serving as one of the largest employers and businesses in the metropolitan area. Operations however were shuttered for good in 2016, at which point the property sat vacant for a short period of time before being purchased for $2.5 million by Opus KTV, a developer based out of Medford, New Jersey. The land is currently being developed into a 3.4 million square foot logistics warehouse space. As of current date, all the original Ingersoll Rand buildings have been demolished sans the above pictured power plant and a second building currently being used by Curtiss-Wright Corporation.
