One last exterior look at the uninspiring Amboy Cinemas before the building was ultimately demolished in mid-2023. It's wild to realize that between the theaters closing in 2005 and subsequent demolition 18 years later the building sat completely abandoned, literally feet from the Driscoll Bridge carrying the Garden State Parkway in Sayreville NJ. I myself have probably driven past the Amboy Cinemas hundreds of times. But it wasn't until I saw some goobers YouTube video of the interior that I even questioned to take a look. In hindsight I'm glad I poked around for a few as it was slightly more interesting than I ever thought. Just goes to show that every ruin is probably worth a peek.
