This shot was taken inside the old woman's block, which was an entirely separate building located behind the main jail annex. An interesting tidbit about the cells within this building is that the opening and closing of the doors was manually controlled by a massive lever at the end of each block. Shifting the lever up or down would open or close all the doors at once because they were all attached to a single track.
