While gazing into my beautiful reflection within the oily mirror-like water filling the flooded turbine pits, I became startled as a flash of orange darting beneath the water caught my attention. I reached down to the ground and picked up a small speck of iron and threw it into the water. To my astonishment, out from beneath a sunken grate swam a goldfish to investigate, followed by a few more of his gold friends. I'm not sure how the fish got here, but they did.
