This portion of the tunnel was exceptionally wide and the ceiling was literally fenced off. At first glance what appeared to be some type of green moss was growing within, however with no natural light able to infiltrate into the tunnel I was skeptical, so I had to take a closer look. It turned out the moss like substance was actually fake plastic moss, purposely hung from the fence. My best guess is that perhaps this area was used as a movie set shorty before being abandoned, however I haven't been able to find any evidence to substantive such a claim.
