Tunnel Terror
The tunnel system while easy to traverse was a bit horrifying to walk around. The air within was damp and stagnant and every surface was covered in a cold dew. Occasionally light would cast in from open manholes above creating an eerie mist encapsulating everything in a white fog. The sound of water droplets dripping down from the saturated insulated asbestos steam pipes reverberated within the dark tunnels creating a ghosty symphony of echoing alien melodies. Every so often a terrifying clanking would fill the claustrophobic space, at first we thought it was the sound of pipes somehow expanding, but it turned out to be vehicles driving over a loose manhole or storm drain grate above.
