Seeing this Sam Goody sign was a bit of a blast from the past. The company filed for bankruptcy way back in 2006 and the remaining stores were purchase by the FYE corporation shortly after. Why the Sam Goody signage remained up in the mall from 2006 until demolition in 2019 is a bit of an anomaly and perhaps speaks to the Wayne Hills Mall having been a struggling mall for quite some time even before closing.
