A peek inside the mortuary within the basement of the abandoned New Medical Building perched atop a hill at the defunct Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center. This room featured a single autopsy table and a ten door stainless steel morgue cooler which had doors on both ends allowing the bodies to be removed from outside of the autopsy area. However, the morgue cooler and autopsy table pictured above was scrapped and removed a few years ago leaving just an empty room behind, but a second slightly older four door morgue cooler still remains within the basement of the Old Medical Building, also abandoned on campus grounds.
